๐Ÿ’ก Plenoptic Function

Computer Vision

The plenoptic function

describes the light intensity of a ray at time passing through in direction with wavelength . This function fully describes the pattern of light rays within a space.

An observer capturing an ๐Ÿž๏ธ Image has partial access to this function, as most light rays are occluded.
